1. Cameron Meredith
2. Kevin White
3. Kendall Wright
4. Marcus Wheaton
5. Josh Bellamy
6. Daniel Braverman

Notable Cuts- Deonte Thompson, Reuben Randle

The Bears receiving corps isn’t the most exciting group you’ve ever seen. Every Bears’ fan likes what they’ve seen out of Cam Meredith, but going into a season with him as your top receiver is cause for concern. Kevin White also has flashed ability, but he only has 4 career games under his belt.

If Meredith and White continue to develop, the Bears group of receivers will be serviceable, but if they struggle, this could be a woeful group. Kendall Wright and Marcus Wheaton are nice additions and Josh Bellamy has shown ability when he isn’t making crippling drops. Daniel Braverman didn’t make the rookie splash that many across the country thought he could, but he’ll have more opportunities in year two.

Deonte Thompson and Reuben Randle were also brought in to battle for positions, but I see Thompson on his way out. Thompson is a decent return man, but the Bears can cover that with Cunningham and see if Cohen can learn the kick returner ropes. Thompson just doesn’t have enough else other than kick returning to warrant a roster spot.

Look for UDFA Tanner Gentry to earn a practice squad spot and he will be a name to watch in training camp and in the preseason to see if he can earn a 53-man spot right out of the gate.
