2. Lions:
Darius Slay, Nevin Lawson, Teez Tabor, Quandre Diggs, DJ Hayden, Alex Carter
This group is headlined by Slay. Slay missed three games last season but he was still an above average starting level outside cornerback. He is still 25 and signed on through 2020. It is a great start to building a corps.
Lawson saw most of the time across from Slay. He has only started one full season but he proved to be a decent outside option. Diggs only has eight starts, and most of them have been in the slot, but he has been strong in his limited time.
However, injury has affected Diggs to where they cannot completely rely on him and they signed DJ Hayden from Oakland. Hayden turned out to be a bit of a bust, but has experience and can compete in the slot and on the outside.
Tabor is the name to watch for. He is a mid-round pick with a high-level draft profile. His tape was a second round player, but his athletic profile and off field said lower rounds. If he can show what he did on tape is real he can get on the field and make an impact on the outside. They can slide Lawson inside and it would be a complete and deep unit. Time will tell on how high Tabor can push this units ceiling.
