1.Vikings:

Xavier Rhodes, Trae Waynes, Mackensie Alexander, Terrance Newman, Marcus Sherels

Rhodes is likely the top cornerback in the division right now. He has the size and length to take on any wide receiver and early in the season was arguably the top cornerback in the game. However, the play of Rhodes tends to take away from how excellent Newman was last season. Newman is an old veteran without the top end athleticism. However, he has great game acumen and is a solidified starter.

Waynes was supposed to step in and replace the aging Newman, but it has failed to happen yet. Waynes is very grabby and raw in his technique, and it may not work out for him if he does not get it this year. Alexander is likely to replace Captain Munnerlyn in the slot. He redshirted last season but was excellent in college, and size is the only thing that kept him out of the first round. Sherels is a special teamer who completes the group that is high on talent at the top end.
