3. Bears:

Quintin Demps, Harold Jones-Quartey, Adrian Amos, Deon Bush, Eddie Jackson

This group is not great, but the Bears at least invested in it this offseason. The team went out and signed Demps, who is most certainly going to be a starter. Demps had a fantastic 2016 season, and while the front in Houston may be stronger than in Chicago, he should still be able to have a solid year.

The second spot is up for grabs, but it should go to Amos. Amos is a solid tackler with limited range. However, Demps was strong in coverage last season so the duo may pan out. Jones-Quartey has a similar style to Amos and should make the team as a backup and special teams helper.

Bush and Jackson are wildcards in their first two seasons. Bush has the range to play the centerfield role, but look lost in his limited experience last season. Jackson could be that player in coverage as well. However, he fell in the draft due to a broken leg. If one of the two can emerge there are at least youth and upside to go with a veteran talent in this group that bumps them over Detroit.
