1. Packers:

Haha Clinton-Dix, Josh Jones, Morgan Burnett, Marwin Evans, Kentrell Brice

The Packers have enough depth at the position to push for number one. Haha Clinton-Dix is likely the second best safety in the division behind Smith. He has great size and speed and has the versatility to be a combination safety. He has been playing deep a lot with Morgan Burnett who prospers in the box.

However, what puts the unit over the top is the idea of Josh Jones. Jones is a rookie, but his role and position fit could leave an impact on this season. Jones is a great athlete and fluid mover in space. However, he is more of a hitter and lacks coverage instincts. The Packers are flirting with adding him as a third safety and an in-the-box hybrid linebacker.

At the worst Jones is great depth for their style of safety, but he may have a major impact. Brice saw some action last season and Evans has a bit of experience as well. However, it is their top three that make them the most well-rounded unit of the four.
