2. Dan Bazuin, DE, Central Michigan

This one is a bit trickier to breakdown. There was some pick swapping going on that landed Chicago this, and two other picks in the 2007 draft. First, the Bears traded Thomas Jones and their second round pick for a much higher second round pick. However, the Bears traded that pick, pick 37 for a late second, a late third and late fifth. Unfortunately for the Bears, the pick they traded away turned into Eric Weddle.

To make matters worse, Bazuin had two knee surgeries in his first three seasons and never saw an NFL field. Ouch.

3. Garrett Wolfe, RB, Norther Illinois

The trade back from 37 continues to hurt the Bears. The team thought they had the next Darren Sproles in college superstar Garrett Wolfe. As it turns, they just drafted the first Garrett Wolfe. Wolfe, supposedly a big play threat

averaged 3.9 yards per carry with a career long of 38 yards on 72 career carries. Let’s hope history doesn’t repeat itself with Tarik Cohen.

3. Michael Okwo, LB, Stanford

Okwo is a colossal miss, never appearing in a single game for the Bears. The two-time all-Pac 10 linebacker never played a single snap in the NFL.

4. Josh Beekman, G, Boston College

As crazy as it sounds, Beekman was one of the bigger hits of the group. With that said, his NFL career lasted three seasons. Still, his 20 starts at guard are more than Bazuin, Wolfe, and Okwo put together.
