2. Kyle Fuller
Fuller missed an entire season with a knee injury Things move fast in football and Vic Fangio has brought in a boat load of new faces that Fuller has never played with. Akiem Hicks, Jaye Howard, Jerrell Freeman, Nick Kwiatkowski, every cornerback he will be battling with, and every safety except for a rookie Adrian Amos is a fresh face for Fuller.
This is a completely different team than the last time Fuller suited up. Add in the health issues of a lost third season, and the sophomore slump that leads to this questionable fourth year, and Fuller may not have any place on this team. While it would have been a gamble, it can be spoken to when the team declined his fifth-year option that they do not have the most long-term faith in him.
The Bears signed Prince Amukamara and Marcus Cooper this offseason. Those two come in with the coaches favor to start immediately over Fuller. Add in that CreVon LeBlanc and Bryce Callahan made some strides last season and the group starts to get a little full.
It will be interesting to see if the Bears try to recoup something for Kyle Fuller deep into the summer as I am sure some teams may throw a late round stab at the former first round pick who lost his way.
