Five potential surprise Bears players to get cut

1. Adrian Amos
This would be the shocker of the group, but the fact that Adrian Amos roster spot is not necessarily safe as he enters training camp can speak to how much this roster is in flux. To put it simply, there is going to be a lot of competition at that position. There is no way that Amos can look at how the team drafted in the past two years and expect to feel safe. Sure, he started two full seasons. The team also has brought in potentially five players to replace him since he has taken over as a starter.
Eddie Jackson, Deon Bush, and Deiondre Hall were drafted in the fourth round, a round higher than Amos. DeAndre Houston-Carson was taken in the sixth round and Quintin Demps has signed this offseason and is likely a shoe in to start. That does not even add in special teamer Chris Prosinski, and Harold Jones-Quartey.

With this crowded of a group, it cannot only be considered that Amos will be competing for starter time, he will also be competing for his job. Amos has the most experience, and a few of the others can be stashed on the practice squad, but Amos has to be prepared to earn his job this summer because anything could happen in the safety group.
