2. Kyle Fuller

Fuller is just 25 years old, but it feels like this may be the most defining season of his career. Fuller has had one roller coaster ride of a career arch. From being drafted in the top half of the first round to being a prized rookie, Fuller had it all by age 22. Age 23 saw a fallback and the downfall of an entire defense. His age 24 seasons saw Fuller on the sidelines for the entire year with an injury. The new management already declined his fifth-year option and he will be a free agent next season.

A former first round pick at age 25 could find himself a decent amount of money on the free agent market. Whether it is with the Bears or not, Fuller’s best chance to earn a long-term substantial income will be next season. What will be interesting will be how many chances he gets.

The coaching staff does not trust him, and almost every other cornerback in the room has been hand picked by this group. Fuller is going to have to show up ready to outperform every cornerback on the team and earn the playing time to get himself a future contract.
