Who are the most valuable Chicago Bears on the 90-man roster?
As we get ready for the Bears to head to training camp, it is a great time to dissect the entire 90-man roster. This series will break down and rank the Bears top 90 players in order of importance. This means value, cost, age, and how important their development in the 2017 seasons means to the Bears. This edition we will look at players 60-51.
60. Daniel Braverman
Braverman spent three games on the active roster in 2016. However, he did not make an NFL catch and only saw the field for 17 NFL snaps. He has some upside, and teams really liked his reliability on tape at Western Michigan. However, with the team adding Kendall Wright and Victor Cruz it is going to be tough for him to earn a job in the slot.
59. Jonathan Anderson
Anderson has been with the Bears for two seasons, starting in three games and being active in 19. Still, he has just 36 career tackles, and only two came last season. He only saw the field for 20 defensive snaps in 2016 and is a minimal impact player at best.
58. John Timu
Timu has seven starts while being active for 18 games over the past two seasons. However, last season he played more defensive snaps and had more tackles than Anderson. Anderson did see more special teams time though.

56. Mitch Unrein
Unrein finished second on the defensive line in snaps played last season. That is apart of why the Bears were picking in the top three last season. Now, he should be competing for a roster spot.
55. Ben Braunecker
Braunecker was an offseason sleeper last year who found his way to the active roster by year’s end. He caught four of his six targets and turned it into 41 yards. Still, the Bears adding two tight ends this offseason likely lands Braunecker back on the practice squad.
54. DeAndre Houston-Carson
Houston-Carson was active for eight games last season but barely saw the field. He is still a bit behind the learning curve and another season on the practice squad would probably be good for him.
53. Michael Burton
Burton was a quality fullback who helped a run game that would be non-existent if it weren’t for him. He should have his hand in making the Bears an even more quality running team.
52. Kapron Lewis-Moore
Lewis-Moore has always had talent but has spent two and a half of his four year career injured. Now that he is healthy he will have a chance to prove that his talent is above a player such as Unrein.
51. Christian Jones
Jones has a lot of experience on the defense. He is a player who can play inside, outside and special teams. He does not bring much starter value, but as a depth player his roster spot can be warranted.
