the defense. While the rest of the unit deteriorated around him, he stayed clean and made plays all over the field.
Of course, he found himself off of the field for other reasons of his own. Freeman was suspended for four games due to a suspension for breaking the substance abuse policy. Freeman returned to form after his suspension, but it will be interesting to see if there are any underlying effects from him changing what he puts into his body.
Still, it seems like a minor question in comparison to what the rest of the team is going through. Freeman should be one of the surefire consistent pieces on the team that can be trusted to lead a defense on the brink of a rebuild.
