4. Kyle Long
Long is a very interesting case. From a talent perspective, he is arguably the best player on the team. Where it starts to get interesting is how his career has twisted and turned. Long started his career at right guard. After two strong seasons, the team decided to move him to right tackle. That decision did not work out for the best.
After a trying season, the team moved him back to guard. After eight solid starts at guard, he was shut down for the rest of the season with an ankle injury. Now that he is healthy again, the team may be experimenting with him to move him to the other guard spot. The swap of Long and Sitton should not be a major one, and has the potential to be a prosperous one for both players. Still, this is just another curve in the road for Long as he tries to get back to elite guard status.
