Who are the players to watch in week three?

The third preseason game is usually the one that most teams try to get their starters as many snaps as possible. It should be a good learning experience to see who the Bears want out on the field, and who may be getting buried on the depth chart. Who are the five Bears players whose performances need to be under the spotlight in week three?

Jeremy Langford

Langford has yet to take a preseason snap. It is safe to say any snap he takes in week three will be tremendously valuable. Langford has to feel as though he is on the outside looking in at this point.

However, he did get some news that may save his job when finding out that teammate Ka’Deem Carey is going to be out for the next six weeks. Carey had surpassed Langford in terms of trust, but now the availability of Langford over Carey gives him value. Even with this news, Langford is nowhere near a lock for the roster. He is going to have to get on the field in week three and he is going to have to look comfortable in multiple phases of the game. Still, in terms of a bottom of the roster must-watch, there are not many more significant than Jeremy Langford.
