Bryce Callahan

In week one, it was Callahan holding down the slot and looking rather comfortable in the role. Then, in week two injury struck, and it was Cre’Von LeBlanc getting those snaps. LeBlanc had his ups, but they also came with downs. Essentially, heading into week three the team is in the same spot they were before the preseason in regards to the slot. Unsure.

Callahan is expected to be back for week three, and this is going to be an extremely significant chance for him to lock down a starting job for the future. At the same time, the Bears are going to want to see a lot of LeBlanc, and he is going to have every chance to make the team forget about the first half that they saw from Callahan. Between the two, there is decent chance they get every single slot snap in week three. Who is better? Are they rotating or is Callahan clearly ahead on the depth chart? Can either name distinguish themselves from one another? These are all the questions worth looking into in week three.
