Deiondre’ Hall

Hall, like Morgan, usually had to wait until the fourth quarter of games to see the field. In some of those snaps, he looked like a player with a lot of work to do. Hall is obviously going to be raw. He is a cornerback who is playing safety for the first time in his career.

The team also wanted to get Eddie Jackson and Adrian Amos snaps with Quintin Demps. They also had Harold Jones-Quartey ahead of Hall and interchanged him with Deon Bush and Deandre Houston-Carson.

Hall provides special teams upside and has an inside shot of making the roster as a bottom end safety. This should be the Bears chance to get him as close to a full game of snaps as they can. If he struggles, it is a great learning point. If he excels, it is time to kick up the acceleration on his progression. Either way, there is a lot to gain from Hall playing this game.
