Five Things we learned from Bears preseason
2017 is going to be a good draft class
Aside from the swing on Trubisky that at worst looks to be a base hit, the rest of the draft appears to be coming around as well. That is highlighted by Tarik Cohen and Eddie Jackson. Both fourth round picks, these two are on track to make impacts as rookies. Cohen is a change of pace back who showed he can play between the tackles. However, his speed and elusiveness in the open field are going to get him snaps in a variety of ways.
Eddie Jackson is going to start at safety next to Quintin Demps. Jackson went to Alabama but fell in the draft due to a broken leg. He has always been a fast and rangy defensive back and he should hold down as the center field type of player that the Bears need.
Adam Shaheen is still learning but that is expected, and Jordan Morgan is going to make the team. The Bears rookies are on the starting track to making great strides in year one.
