Who does the Bear Goggles on Staff predict to win the Chicago Bears Week One matchup with the Atlanta Falcons?

To start a new season we will produce a new series. This year, the staff of Bear Goggles On will be making weekly predictions of the Chicago Bears games. We will give a score prediction, and decide who we like to win the game, and whether or not  we expect the Bears to cover the spread. In the table below each writers name, score, winner, who covers, and their record in terms of winner and against the spread. This will be a fun weekly excerisise to see just how well our writers know this team.

Week One does not bring much promise to Bears fans, but we probably all knew that. Every staff member to put in a prediction has the Bears losing to the Falcons. Most of the staff has the Bears losing by over a touchdown. Five of the six writers have the Bears failing to cover the spread. Those writers have the team losing by as much as 21 and as little as 10.  However, one brave soul, Parker Hurley has the team losing, but keeping it close. He has the Bears covering the spread, and losing in a close one, 21-17.
