Mike Glennon Facing Former Team for the First Time

This Week 2 matchup will mark the homecoming for Bears quarterback Mike Glennon. The 2013 third-round draft pick was selected by Tampa Bay, and eventually was phased out once the Bucs drafted Jameis Winston first overall in 2015. Glennon has downplayed the fact that he will be facing his former team for the first time. He’s pretty much saying that his only focus is to getting the Bears to 1-1. But, it should be safe to say that Glennon would get extra satisfaction sticking it to the franchise that pretty much gave up on him. This might light a fire, making Glennon more aggressive throwing the ball downfield. His familiarity with Tampa Bay’s defense might come in handy as well.
