Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen
With the constant battering the Bears’ receiving corps have been taking, it’s safe to bet that Tampa Bay’s defense will be keying in on Chicago’s running game. Second-year running back Jordan Howard should still get the bulk of the load on the ground. In last season’s matchup, Howard rushed for 100 yards on just 15 carries. This year, things should be a little different, with the sudden emergence of rookie running back Tarik Cohen. In Week 1, Cohen rushed for 66 yards on five carries, and added eight catches for 47 yards and a touchdown. With a speedster to complement Howard’s powerful running style, the Bears’ running attack could be too much for a Bucs defense that was ranked 22nd against the run in 2016. Of course, that’s only if the passing game shows up.
