Week two of the fantasy season is an intriguing matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Let’s take a look at the Tampa Bay defense and the five Chicago Bears to play for week two of fantasy football.
Tampa Bay Defense
In 2016 the Tampa Bay defense was in the bottom of the league. They would give up 367.9 yards per game, 250 passing yards per game, 117 rushing yards per game, and 23.1 points per game. The Chicago Bears have a chance to get the offense in a good rhythm and show off their weapons this week.
Jordan Howard – RB1
Jordan Howard is on the injury report and is listed as questionable with a shoulder injury. John Fox has said he isn’t worried about Howard and expects him to play Sunday afternoon in Tampa. Week one Howard didn’t impress rushing 11 times for 52 yards and grabbing 3 receptions. He should receive more carries this week to test the Buccaneers run defense.
Zach Miller – TE2
Miller had an average game week one catching 4 passes for 39 yards. I expect him to always be a threat because he is such a reliable target, plus he is going to get red-zone targets whenever the Bears get there. Until Dion Sims proves he can be a catch passing tight end Miller is the player to roll with.
Kendall Wright -WR2/Flex
Wright struggled to do much of anything week one, he caught 3 passes for 34 yards. The receivers weren’t targeted much, we don’t know if that was part of the gameplan or if they simply couldn’t get open for Glennon. With the Kevin White injury that makes Kendall Wright number one on the roster, if the Bears expect to win games they will get the chemistry between him and Glennon flowing.

Tarik Cohen -Flex
The human joystick impressed everybody with his week one performance. He had 5 rushes for 66 yards, along with 8 catches for 47 yards with a touchdown. He was by far the best weapon on offense in his limited touches. Expect the same gameplan this week 12-15 touches out of the backfield and catching the ball. If Howard is really hurt it is possible they increase a touches just a bit.
Tanner Gentry -Flex
Honorable mention and risky play of the week goes to wide receiver Tanner Gentry. He shined during the pre-season and deserved to be on the starting roster. He could definitely be in the mix for a big play or two, keep an eye on him in some of your deeper leagues.
