Who does the Bear Goggles on Staff predict to win the Chicago Bears Week One matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
The Falcons beat the Chicago Bears last week, which was predicted by all six of the staff writers. The Bears did cover, which Parker Hurley went out on a limb to say. Now in week two the Buccaneers stand as seven point favorites for their home and season opener. Who does the Bear Goggles on Staff we winning in week two?
Name | Score | Winner | Who Covers the spread? | Record (ATS) |
Alex Beamer | 23-20 | Bucaneers | Bears | 1-0 (0-1) |
William Ingalls | 26-21 | Bears | Bears | 1-0 (0-1) |
Jesse Tamayo | 24-20 | Bears | Bears | 1-0 (0-1) |
Joshua Diaz | 24-17 | Bucaneers | Push | 1-0 (0-1) |
Bill Zimmerman | 20-16 | Bucaneers | Bears | 1-0 (0-1) |
Parker Hurley | 21-10 | Buccaneers | Buccaneers | 1-0 (1-0) |
Julain Green | 26-20 | Buccaneers | Bears | (0-0) (0-0) |
The staff is more split this week. Alex, Joshua, Bill, Parker and Julian have the Buccaneers winning. However, of those five, Parker also seems them covering that seven point spread. Joshua sees the Bucs winning by that touchdown.
On the other side, Jesse and William went with the Bears to pull of the outright upset.
The game should be a tough one to predict. No one can truly tell how prepared, mentally and physically the Buccaneers will be with this first week bye. They probably had a lot going on at home, and there is not telling where they are mentally.
While a player such as Tarik Cohen’s cat has been let out of the bag, there is no telling what the Buccaneers have hidden because they have no tape yet from 2017. This should be a wild card game, and it drew plenty of differing opinions.
