Chicago Bears: 5 Things to Watch for in Week 4
Defense’s Containment of Ty Montgomery
In the last two meetings between these two teams, Ty Montgomery was a huge reason for Green Bay’s success against Chicago. In Week 7 of 2016, Montgomery had a total of 155 yards from scrimmage against the Bears’ defense. Later, in Week 15, the wide receiver-turned-running back gashed Chicago for 162 yards rushing yards and two touchdowns. For the most part, the Bears’ run defense has been solid thus far, surrendering an average of 83.7 rushing yards per game. Hopefully, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has a game plan to prevent Montgomery from running through and around the Bears’ defense once again.
