Will Bears Finally Get an Interception?
The one solid part of Chicago’s defense so far is their pass defense. Unfortunately, five games into the regular season, the Bears have no interceptions to show for it. And as a collective unit, Chicago has only three takeaways so far this year (tied for second-fewest in the NFL). Two of those takeaways were by the defense, while the other was recorded by the special teams.
The Ravens are ranked 31st in passing, with an average of 158.4 yards per game. Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is tied for third in the NFL for the most interceptions thrown (6). Whether if it’s from the secondary, linebackers, or even the defensive line, Chicago needs some picks from somewhere.
