Chicago Bears: 5 Things to Watch for in Week 6
Will Run Defense Improve with Danny Trevathan Back in the Lineup?
After serving a one-game suspension last week, inside linebacker Danny Trevathan will be returning to the starting lineup. Trevathan’s absence was greatly felt against the Vikings. Chicago allowed 159 yards on the ground versus Minnesota. Entering Week 6, the Bears’ run defense is ranked 13th. The Ravens’ rushing offense is ranked sixth, averaging 130.4 yards per game. A lot will fall on the shoulders of Trevathan with not only helping stop the run, but with pre-snap play-calling as well. Backup inside linebacker Christian Jones had some difficulty with that last week. Communication will be the key for the Bears in stopping the run, and it all starts with Trevathan.
