Name | Score | Winner | Who Covers the spread? | Record (ATS) |
Alex Beamer | 24-10 | Ravens | Ravens | 3-2 (0-5) |
William Ingalls | 24-10 | Ravens | Ravens | 3-2 (1-4) |
Jesse Tamayo | 14-13 | Bears | Bears | 3-2 (0-5) |
Joshua Diaz | 21-17 | Ravens | Bears | 3-2 (0-5) |
Bill Zimmerman | 23-20 | Ravens | Bears | 4-1 (1-4) |
Parker Hurley | 17-13 | Ravens | Bears | 3-2 (5-0) |
Julain Green | 24-20 | Bears | Bears | (4-1) (2-3) |
All but two staff writers see the Ravens pulling off the win. Julian Green and Jesse Tamayo have the Bears pulling off the outright upset. However, most of the staff does see this as a close game. Those two obviously have the Bears covering the spread, but so does Joshua Diaz, Bill Zimmerman and Parker Hurley. Hurley will put his undefeated streak on the line by seeing the Bears cover in a close loss. He has gotten two games wrong straight up, so there is a chance for a Bears win and cover.
This will be a tough test for the Bears. It will be rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky’s first road game. It just so happens to be against a team that is known for dominating rookie quarterbacks. We will see if the defense and the run game can keep him in long enough to get them the cover.
