Hicks has been Chicago’s best player this year, on either side of the ball, and it really isn’t even that close. Hicks has proven that he is worth every penny of that extension and the Bears should be thrilled they paid him when they did because the price tag is only going up.

Hicks is a virtual lock for the Pro Bowl and is playing at an All Pro level right now. He’s been a disruptive force to both opponents’ passing game and running game. He’s been a leader in the locker room and on the field. You couldn’t ask for a better player right now than Hicks.
