This rating is interesting. The Bears’ secondary has been good, many experts have said it’s been surprisingly good, but if you have followed the careers of these players and watched the younger players develop, it certainly isn’t a shock. You may have been more mildly surprised if you knew how well the secondary was playing without Quintin Demps and Marcus Cooper, but Cooper’s injury has been a blessing, because that opened the door for Fuller.

As for Amukamara, he’s a great CB2. The Bears were going to utilize him more as their top corner this year, but with Fuller playing well, Amukamara hasn’t had to go against a lot of star receivers since he’s gotten back from injury. His play has been steady, it not flashy. It’s a bit surprising he’s this high, especially over Hicks, but the way the secondary has performed nobody should be shocked they have a CB ranked second.
