BALTIMORE, MD – OCTOBER 15: Strong Safety Adrian Amos /

Adrian Amos has turned some heads this year. Amos came on strong as a rookie and earned a starting spot out of camp. But his play leveled off his rookie year, and honestly, last year, saying he didn’t improve would be kind, if anything, he regressed.

This year, Amos found himself on the bench to start the year, but when Demps went down with an injury, it opened the door for Amos to prove himself again and that’s exactly what he did. Amos has been a solid tackler and has made some plays in the secondary, including his first career interception which he happened to take to the house against the Ravens. In my rankings I would have had Amos second behind Hicks (Goldman third, Fuller fourth, Callahan fifth), but it’s hard to argue his place at the top of the list with how well he has played.
