We enlist the help of our friends at Cat Crave for our Bears vs Panthers Week 7 preview.
After a surprising road win over the Baltimore Ravens, the Chicago Bears return home to face the Carolina Panthers. Panthers quarterback Cam Newton offers Bears fans glimmers of hope as a top quarterback who can raise the level of his team and lead them to a Super Bowl. But with the good, comes some bad. Cam is still inconsistent at times and can be prone to make mistakes.
Bears fans can hope that their top quarterback choice Mitch Trubisky can rise to the levels Newton has achieved. The kid has shown glimpses of why the Bears made him the first quarterback taken in last year’s draft. But he and the Bears supporting cast have a long way to go.

The Panthers come into Soldier Field as one of the top defenses in the league so it won’t be easy for Trubisky and Company to put up points. The Bears will be relying on Jordan Howard and the running game to try to move the ball on the Panthers.
The Bears will welcome back some familiar faces on Sunday including former Bears Ron Rivera, Julius Peppers and the injured Greg Olsen.
