Will Coaching Staff Unleash Mitchell Trubisky?
It seems that rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is being used less and less as the weeks roll by. In Week 6, Trubisky had 16 pass attempts, only to see that number cut dramatically in Week 7 with just seven pass attempts. With the addition of wide receiver Dontrelle Inman, we don’t know how much that will change the game plan for offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains (I doubt it will change very much). However, the fact that the Saints are 23rd in total defense and 21st in pass defense, there might be a slight possibility that Trubisky will be given more opportunities to throw the ball. A solid game for the second overall pick will be a good confidence booster going into the bye week.
