Who does the staff of Bear Goggles On think is going to win the Chicago Bears Week 8 matchup with the New Orleans Saints. Who does the staff think will cover the spread?
Last week, the Bears not only covered the spread, but they won outright. This was a call correctly made by Bill Zimmerman and Parker Hurley. With the win, Zimmerman now is tied with Julian Green for the best outright record. On top of that, Parker Hurley keeps him amazing against the spread streak alive, sitting at 7-0 on the season. Who does the unbeaten Hurley and the rest of the staff have in this one?
Name | Score | Winner | Who Covers the spread? | Record (ATS) |
Alex Beamer | 28-17 | Bears | Bears | 3-4 (0-7) |
William Ingalls | 27-17 | Saints | Saints | 3-4 (1-6) |
Jesse Tamayo | 21-16 | Saints | Bears | 4-3 (1-6) |
Joshua Diaz | 30-24 | Saints | Bears | 3-4 (1-6) |
Bill Zimmerman | 24-20 | Bears | Bears | 5-2 (3-4) |
Parker Hurley | 28-10 | Saints | Saints | 4-3 (7-0) |
Julain Green | 27-24 | Saints | Bears | 5-2 (3-4) |
Bad news Bears fans, Hurley is going with the Saints. He is also going with the Saints, big covering the two score spread. Along with him is staff writer William Ingalls. Bill Zimmerman has the Bears winning out right, and Julian Green has the Saints, so we will have a new person in first place for outright winners by next week.

This will be a real test for the Bears. They have had two home games, and beat a clearly banged up Ravens team on the road. The defense has come alive, but the offense has failed to come in behind them. Against the New Orleans Saints, the offense will almost certainly need to perform better if they do want to cover this spread.
