Adam Shaheen should see an uptick in playing time in the second half of the season. Can he be a red zone threat?

Shaheen was drafted high for his potential but fell out of the first round with ease due to his mystery. Shaheen is a basketball player who found himself playing football at Ashland. Needless to say, he is very raw at the game of football at this stage in his career.

being tied for a team lead in touchdown receptions. Zach Miller currently leads the team, so whoever catches the next touchdown pass from Trubisky will likely become the candidate to lead the team. Shaheen is going to get the chance. He has the size, the matchup and the jumps to make plays in the red zone. Trubisky should be looking for him, and in a season that featured Tarik Cohen Early, Eddie Jackson and Mitchell Trubisky in the middle, it could be the rookie Shaheen late capping off a big rookie class.
