Could This Be Mitchell Trubisky’s Breakout Game?

For the most part, Mitchell Trubisky has been in shackles in the passing game. However, in Week 8, the rookie quarterback did have a career-high 32 pass attempts. Considering the fact that the Bears had extra time to prepare for this game, many would think that Trubisky is primed for his breakout game. What makes this even more convincing, it turns out that Packers safety Morgan Burnett is ruled out with a groin injury—something that Trubisky and offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains can take advantage of. Currently, Chicago’s air attack is dead last in the NFL with an average of 157.5 yards per game. Seeing Trubisky crack the 250-yard mark will be a sight for sore eyes.
