5. John Fox will only coach 6 more games (maybe less!)

Let’s start with a negative- John Fox. Obviously, the John Fox era is not one that is going to be remembered fondly by Bears’ fans. The franchise wanted an experienced coach to pair with their young GM and thought Fox was the guy. While the concept was sound, Fox has not executed. The Bears are on their way to their third consecutive losing season under Fox, and after a debacle of a game against the rival Green Bay Packers, Fox sealed his fate.

With only six games remaining this year, the John Fox Era has almost concluded. If Bears fans are lucky, perhaps the team won’t wait and they’ll kick Fox to the curb with a game or two to go in the season.

There is no guarantee that the next coach will have great success in Chicago, but it’s hard to imagine that the next coach will do any worse.
