4. The Running Back Tandem

The Bears offense has struggled over the last few years, but one thing they have really excelled at over the last 20 games or so is running the football.

Led by Jordan Howard, the Bears have become one of the best running teams in the NFL. Howard’s backfield partner, rookie Tarik Cohen, gives the Bears a 1-2 punch in the backfield that very few teams have.

As long as health doesn’t destroy the offense, the tandem of Howard and Cohen is going to give the Bears one of the best rushing attacks, if not the best, over the next few years. The NFL has evolved into a passing league, but even teams that focus on passing need to successfully run the football.

Howard and Cohen can stabilize the Bears offense moving forward and help the team make the jump to a playoff contending one in 2018.
