Bears fans like to be negative, and why not? The organization has given the fans very little to be positive about over the last several seasons. But while fans have been complaining about Mike Glennon, John Fox, the McCaskeys or any other number of issues, Ryan Pace has quietly built a fantastic young core.

On offense, the Bears have Cody Whitehair, Adam Shaheen, Cameron Meredith, Mitch Trubisky, Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen all in their first or second year in the NFL, and that doesn’t even include Kyle Long.

Defensively, the Bears boast young talent like Akiem Hicks, Eddie Goldman, Leonard Floyd, Nick Kwiatkoski, Danny Trevathan, Adrian Amos and Eddie Jackson.

I don’t think fans realize quite how good that the drafts have been over the last couple of seasons because everyone still likes to focus on the Kevin White mess, which is nobody’s fault except flat bad luck. This Bears roster is on the cusp, they just need a coach to lead it to the promised land.
