Without question, fans need to be thankful for Mitch Trubisky.  Fans will be quick to point out that Trubisky hasn’t looked as good as Deshaun Watson did, but one of the big questions around Watson was his durability and that’s already proving true.

Trubisky was also far less polished than Watson and thus, wasn’t going to set the NFL ablaze his rookie year. Trubisky’s learning curve has been rapid. Look at the improvement he has shown against Green Bay and Detroit compared to how he looked early on. Trubisky has the intelligence, arm and athleticism to become a top-notch quarterback in this league. He’s already become the leader of the offense, despite only being a rookie.

Trubisky has all the tools to become the Bears greatest quarterback since Sid Luckman and the first Pro Bowl quarterback since Jim McMahon. No, it won’t  happen this year, but the Bears haven’t hadn’t a QB on the roster with this much talent in a long time, and that’s something every Bears’ fan should be very thankful for.
