3. Bears fans look at Caron Wentz and dream that Mitch Trubisky can lead a similar resurgence for the Bears.  Give me a scouting report of Wentz and what the Bears can expect from him on Sunday.  Can he win the MVP?

Wentz is good. As I stated, he’s actually ahead of schedule in his development. Sure, he misses an open guy here and there. Yes, his long ball can fall short or fall several yards ahead of an open receiver, but he’s also 26 games into his career. Wentz will improve.

I think he can win the MVP if things continue, and honestly, with the remaining schedule, I think his production, at minimum, will stay on the same course that it has to this point. I’m not willing to crown the Eagles as the champs yet, but they’ve definitely found the guy that can get them there.

Sunday, look for Wentz to throw for about three or four touchdowns and 300 yards.

4. What does the Eagles defense have in store for Trubisky and the Bears offense?  Are the Bears going to be able to move the ball and put some points on the board?

Contrary to what some believe, there are normally some opportunities to take advantage of the Eagles on defense. Unfortunately for Bears fans, I don’t think they have the personnel for it to matter. For the first time in my life, I can’t really tell you who’s on the Bears roster without using Google.

Ronald Darby, just one game into his return from injury, has solidified the Eagles secondary. Expect some timely blitzes from Jim Schwartz’s guys to rattle a young Mitch Trubisky, but Chicago should pick up some garbage scores late. I just don’t see them cracking the 20-point mark in this one.

5.  Give me your prediction for Sunday.  Be gentle.

Philly has a tendency to go through offensive droughts and these little lulls throughout every game they show up for. Recently, the M.O. has been to start slow and pick up steam late. I think that continues here. Sportsbookreview.com sees Philly as double-digit favorites, and ‘ll side with them on that.

Give me the Eagles by a score of 38-17

A big thanks to Geoffrey Knox and the guys at Inside the Iggles for their keen insight and behind enemy lines look at this week’s game.  Be sure to head over to Inside the Iggles and check out my answers to their questions and get the rest of the Eagles point of view on Sunday’s matchup.
