How much did each player see the field on the defensive side of the ball for the Chicago Bears in Week 12 at the Philadelphia Eagles?
It is time for the weekly snap counts. How much did each player see the field on the defensive side of the ball for the Chicago Bears?
Defensive Line
Akiem Hicks – 54 (69%)
Eddie Goldman – 50 (64)
Jonathan Bullard – 47 (60%)
Mitch Unrein – 41 (53%)
John Jenkins – 22 (28%)
The obvious takeaway here is that Bullard played more snaps than Unrein for the first time this season. Even more comforting than that, Bullard play well. It is a good sign, and it could be a trend that we start to see more Bullard and less Unrein down the stretch, as they figure out what they have in their second year performer.
Linebacker
Sam Acho – 64 (82%)
Nick Kwiatkoski – 49 (63%)
Christain Jones – 48 (62%)
Pernell McPhee – 45 (58%)
Isaiah Irving – 36 (46%)
Jonathan Timu – 30 (38%)
Howard Jones – 4 (5%)
Withou Leonard Floyd, it was Sam Acho who was the beneficiary for a much bigger role. Pernell McPhee did not change his role, and Isaiah Irving and Howard Jones also got thrown into the mix for the first time.
On the inside, there was some Jonathon Timu, as Christian Jones had a few lapses in coverage. Nick Kwiatkoski leading the trio in snaps could be a trend

Safety
Eddie Jackson – 77 (99%)
Adrian Amos – 61 (78%)
Deon Bush – 17 (22%)
Deon Bush got some snaps for Amos late but that is nothing really to monitor. Amos and Jackson will be the primary players moving forward.
Cornerback
Prince Amukamara – 78 (100%)
Kyle Fuller – 77 (99%)
CreVon LeBlanc – 49 (63%)
Sherrick McManis – 9 (12%)
Nothing to report as the group played as much as anticipated.
