Chicago Bears Week 12 snap counts: Offense

CHICAGO, IL - NOVEMBER 12: Benny Cunningham
CHICAGO, IL - NOVEMBER 12: Benny Cunningham

How much did each member of the Chicago Bears offense play on Sunday?

It is time for the weekly snap counts. This edition is the offense for the Chicago Bears in Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles. How much did each player see the field on Sunday in the blow out loss?

Quarterback

Mitchell Trubisky – 55 (100%)

To no surprise, even in the blow out, the rookie stayed in to get snaps.

Running back

Benny Cunningham – 23 (42%)
Jordan Howard – 23 (42%)
Tarik Cohen – 19 (35%)
Michael Burton – 2 (4%)

Yes, losing dictates it. Still, it is baffling to see that that Cunningham is tied with Jordan Howard and ahead of Tarik Cohen in snaps played at this point of the season.

Offensive Line

Charles Leno – 55 (100%)
Kyle Long – 55 (100%)
Bobby Massie – 55 (100%)
Cody Whitehair C 55 (100%)
Bradley Sowell – 40 (73%)
Josh Sitton – 15 (27%)

Sitton left the game early due to a concussion and did not return. Sowell slid in for the rest of his snaps.

Wide Receiver

Dontrelle Inman – 51 (93%)
Tre McBride – 43 (78%)
Kendall Wright – 42 (76%)
Markus Wheaton – 5 (9%)

The Bears cut McBride on Tuesday, which is surprising considering how many snaps he played for the team on Sunday. Especially considering how little anyone else has played. They are going to have use either Cohen, Wheaton or Tanner Gentry to fill those 43 snaps on the outside.

Tight End

Daniel Brown – 30 (55%)
Dion Sims – 20 (36%)
Adam Shaheen – 17 (31%)

There is no logical reason as to why Adam Shaheen is third on the team in snaps played. They should be getting him on the field more down the stretch. It would be a shame for them to waste this great chance to help him develop on the field.
