The Chicago Bears will host the one-win (at the time of this writing) San Francisco 49ers at Soldier Field to open the month of December. The 49ers have struggled greatly this season but looked better in their win against the New York Giants. The 49ers will be starting Jimmy Garoppolo this week and sport a rushing attack with the multi-talented Carlos Hyde. If the Bears can simply contain Hyde and not allow Garoppolo to beat them, they can easily win this game.

On defense, the 49ers are allowing teams to run all over them giving up 133.5 yards per game right now. This means that the Bears should be able to control the ball and the clock with their capable rushing attack. If the play calling is good, which sometimes it’s not, the Bears should be able to win this game on offense running the ball and using carefully controlled passes to move the ball down the field.

Hopefully, the Bears won’t be struggling that much after their game against the Eagles coming into this one. Also, hopefully, they are healthy. This is a perfect opportunity for Bears to notch their fourth win of the season, so they need to play a good game to beat the 49ers.

Score Prediction: Chicago 24 San Francisco 17
