Will Dontrelle Inman Be Bears’ Leading Receiver for Fourth-Straight Week?
Since joining the Bears, wide receiver Dontrelle Inman has been the go-to guy in the offense. Although the stats may not be eye-popping, Inman has recorded 13 catches for 195 yards in the three games he has played in a Bears uniform. So far this season, the 49ers are ranked 26th in defending the pass, and has surrendered 20 touchdown passes. In addition, five wide receivers have recorded 100-yard games against San Francisco’s defense—six if you include the running back that gain over 100 yards receiving. Rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubiksy seems to be looking Inman’s way a lot. Assuming that Trubisky continues to do so, Inman may be in for a big day against the 49ers’ struggling pass defense.
