Bears’ Play at Safety Position

The production of the Bears’ secondary has declined a bit in the past few weeks. On Sunday, things may get a bit more difficult for Chicago’s last line of defense. Safeties Adrian Amos (hamstring), Deon Bush (ankle), and DeAndre Houston-Carson (ankle) are all on Chicago’s injury list for Week 13. Amos is listed as doubtful, while Bush and Houston-Carson are listed as questionable. To try and fill the void, the Bears did activate Deiondre’ Hall from injured reserve. They also re-signed Chris Prosinski, who played with Chicago in 2015 and 2016. It looks like Hall will be in the starting lineup, and there may be a chance that Prosinski will be active as well. With a new quarterback, there’s no telling if the 49ers and their 17th ranked passing attack will try to exploit the middle of the Bears’ secondary.

Cornerbacks Bryce Callahan (knee) and Cre’Von LeBlanc (illness) are listed as questionable as well.
