Deiondre’ Hall activated, likely to start on Sunday
The Chicago Bears activated Deiondre’ Hall to the 53-man roster on Saturday. It likely means he is going to start Week 13 against the 49ers
After practicing on the Injured reserved for the past 11 days, the Chicago Bears have decided to activate Deiondre’ Hall to the 53-man roster. Their corresponding move was to put outside linebacker Isaiah Irving on the Injured Reserved.
The Chicago Bears safety position currently has more character arcs than Game of Thrones. Adrian Amos is injured and not practicing. He took the starting job away from Quintin Demps, who is fresh back to practice this week and is eyeing his chance at the starting spot. However, with Amos leaving the spot wide open, Demps could not get back to practice quick enough.
The Bears signed Chris Prosinski earlier in the week, and before today, he was the only active Bears safety full practicing other than Eddie Jackson. So with DeAndre Houston-Carson, Deon Bush, Demps, and Amos all injured, the Bears finally decided it was time to activate Hall, who likely is going to surpass Prosinski on the depth chart and start on Sunday.

Let’s face it, the Bears kept Hall around the team all season, Even with his 11 days of practice, he has practiced with the team longer than their other option. He is completely raw but with his age, time spent with the team and upside, he has to be the starter on Sunday over Prosinski. Otherwise, they would have been better off waiting another week before bringing him back to the active roster. Expect Hall to start on Sunday.
