Chicago Bears Week 13 Staff Picks
Who does the staff at Bear Goggles On predict to win the Chicago Bears Week 13 matchup with the San Fransisco 49ers?
Last week, the Philadelphia Eagles had their way with the Chicago Bears, beating them by 28 points, and covering the 14 point spread. Most of the staff writers saw this coming. Every member picked the Eagles to win outright, and all but Alex Beamer had the Eagles covering the hefty spread. What do the staff members think about the Bears next opponent? The Bears are currently three point favorites.
Name | Score | Winner | Who Covers the spread? | Record (ATS) |
Alex Beamer | 24-14 | Bears | Bears | 5-6 (1-10) |
William Ingalls | 6-5 (4-7) | |||
Jesse Tamayo | 24-21 | Bears | Bears | 6-5 (3-8) |
Joshua Diaz | 24-21 | 49ers | 49ers | 6-5 (4-7) |
Bill Zimmerman | 24-20 | 49ers | 49ers | 7-4 (6-5) |
Parker Hurley | 27-17 | 49ers | 49ers | 7-4 (9-2) |
Despite a 1-10 record, three of our staff writers are rolling with the 49ers to win this game outright. A lot of this likely has to do with their move at quarterback to go to Jimmy Garoppolo. It will be interesting to see how the young passer does on a new team, after making two starts with the Patriots.
Two of the writers do see the Bears moving towards their fourth win today, though. Jesse Tamayo and Alex Beamer both have the Bears winning this game outright.

It will be interesting to see which side is correct. Bill Zimmerman and Parker Hurley currently have the best records when picking straight up, and both are on the 49ers. However, Parker is still racing ahead in picking against the spread, as he is 9-2 this season in that department.
