Mercifully, the 2017 NFL season is almost near its end for the Chicago Bears. Currently riding a five-game losing streak, the Bears (3-9) will hope to start the last quarter of their schedule with a win, when they go on the road to face the Cincinnati Bengals. So far this year, Chicago has had luck against the AFC North, and maybe that good fortune will continue.

More from Chicago Bears News

Entering Week 14, seven of the Bengals’ starters are listed as either “out” or “questionable” for Sunday. This is something that the Bears could definitely take advantage of. And considering that most of Cincinnati’s injuries are on the defensive side of the ball, this would be the time for Chicago’s offense to start gaining some chunks of yardage.

In addition to this news, the Bears have signed another new kicker, again. After Cairo Santos was placed on injured reserve with a groin injury, Chicago signed Mike Nugent. The 14-year veteran kicker is an Ohio native who went to Ohio State, and happened to play seven of his NFL seasons with the Bengals. Seeing how Robbie Gould had success against his former team last week, maybe the same can happen for Nugent and the Bears come Sunday.

Well, along these two storylines, there are other things to watch for in this week’s matchup. Take a look.
