Can Mitchell Trubisky Crack 200-Yard Mark in Passing?
Chicago is dead last in passing, averaging a measly 160.2 yards per game. Since becoming the starting quarterback, rookie Mitchell Trubisky has had five game when he has attempted at least 25 passes, and has eclipsed the 200-yard mark only once. Granted, Trubisky doesn’t have many downfield threats to throw to, but to have only one 200-plus yard game out of his eight total starts is mindboggling. The Bengals’ pass defense isn’t nothing to sneeze at. Cincinnati’s eighth-ranked pass defense could give the first-round draft pick another headache. Hopefully, the number of injuries in the Bengals’ secondary will play in favor for Trubisky and the Bears’ aerial attack this Sunday.
