Josh Gordon will be suiting up against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Is he a player that they could be looking at this offseason?

The Chicago Bears need help at wide receiver. There is no doubt that this offseason will be spent pursuing all options when it comes to adding talent at wide receiver. Why not Josh Gordon?

We all know the downfall of Josh Gordon, but it appears that now we are beginning to learn about the rise and recovery of Gordon. He has played well in his limited time, but situations, play calling and quarterback play have been troublesome. He has 12 receptions for 201 yards and a touchdown so far this season.

Gordon is an exclusive rights free agent next season, so the Browns can decide whether to keep him or let him explore free agency. It seems obvious that they will let him go after his saga in that city.

Who is to say he does not do something on Sunday that catches the eye of Ryan Pace? Pace does the background work on him, understands the person and thinks he is worthy of bringing in. You never know, it could be the new start that he needed, and the new wide receiver that the Bears needed for Mitchell Trubisky.

The question then would come down to money. For Gordon, he will have to understand that he is losing out on any guaranteed money that he would have typically got. That said, that only increases the Bears idea to take that low risk on him, with the idea that if he gels with Trubisky, then he is a player you can start thinking about beyond one year at a time.
