Who are the inactive players for the Chicago Bears Week 17 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings?

We all know this Week 17 game means nothing for the Chicago Bears. if anything, the best case scenario is a close loss. Close, because that means some of the younger players showed improvement. A loss, helping their draft stock. With that said, there is the question of which players to start for experience, and which players to sit for fear of health. The Bears went pretty standard for their Week 17 inactive list.

Rashaan Coward, Taquan Mizzell and Mark Sanchez have not been active all season. In the case of Coward, and Mizzell, you could argue they would have been better off seeing the field than some others. Still, their absence is not surprising and signifies their place on the roster.

Deiondre Hall has not been able to get on the field at all since returning to the roster after starting on the IR. This is officially a lost season for him.

Lastly is the players who are normally active, but injury has them inactive. Adam Shaheen and Josh Sitton have not played the past two weeks. For Sitton, it was obvious when he went down a few weeks ago that he would have to be in the best shape of his life to get back on the field. We all knew that was not going to happen. For Shaheen, you would have liked to see him get on the field. Still, he has not fully practiced in nearly a month. It is just a risk to push him with something that clearly has lingered. Lastly is fresh face Bobby Massie, who made his way on to the injury report earlier this week.
