Will you root for Alshon Jeffrey in the Super Bowl?

Alshon Jeffery is the former Chicago Bears player in Super Bowl 52. Does that give you a rooting interest.

Even the biggest Jeffrey supporter can admit that the last season Alshon Jeffery was in Chicago was not necessarily a strong finish to his Chicago career. Jeffrey was suspended, he caught just two touchdowns, and the last few games of his career felt like playing out the cards.

However, overall he had a fun career in Chicago. Most of the mess that surrounded him was not his fault, and he had two dominant seasons and three overall strong year’s in Chicago. Does that give you any rooting interest for the former Chicago Bear.

It would be nice to see him find success, even if it were not in Chicago. It would also be an ode to the Bears that they had drafted an impact player on a Super Bowl winning team. Plus, it is not that fun to root for the New England Patriots anyway.

For this Super Bowl, Alshon Jeffery having a good game would be okay to see. It would help the Patriots lose and the Bears look better, so there is nothing wrong with that.

Do you agree? Do you hope Jeffery gets held catchless? Does his presence in the game matter at all to which side you are rooting for? Let us know if you are rooting for Alshon Jeffery, the Eagles or the Patriots in this Super Bowl in the comment section below.
